The Client had several requirements:
Implementing leaderboards, badges, and challenges to instill healthy competition and recognize achievements. Ensuring dynamic engagement with periodic updates to challenges and visible progress tracking.
Serving 80 users across 8 finance teams located globally. Rolling out in three strategic deployment phases for smooth transition and adaptation.
Intuitive dashboards for goal tracking, achievements, and performance feedback. Role-specific landing pages to maintain focus and usability.
Leveraging API-based integration to ensure seamless, real-time data refresh from SAP. Supporting transaction audits, data sync for KPIs, and visibility of real-time user progress.
Modular subsystem design supporting: gamification logic, user role-level segregation, secure SAP data interfaces. Clear testing protocols for each subsystem to ensure reliability and compliance.
Solution
Development Process:
The entire solution was built from the ground up, using Microsoft Power Apps and integrating Microsoft Power Automate for logic flows and API calls.
Deployment and Knowledge Transfer
The rollout was executed in three structured phases to ensure operational stability:

Pilot Phase: Deployed to a core team with enhanced support.

Intermediate Phase: Extended to half of the remaining teams with lessons applied from the pilot.

Full Deployment: Rolled out to all 8 teams.
After deployment, a comprehensive knowledge transfer was delivered, empowering the client’s internal team to maintain and enhance the solution independently.
