Requirements:

• • • Strong expertise in SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (SAP DMC), including configuration, extension, and integration with shop floor systems.

    • Proven experience with SAP MES solutions and deep understanding of manufacturing execution processes in discrete and process industries.

    • Hands-on development experience with SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) for real-time data visualization, analytics, and integration.

    • Proficiency in SAP development technologies including ABAP, SAP Fiori, and UI5 for building responsive and user-friendly manufacturing applications.

    • Experience designing and implementing custom extensions and enhancements in SAP Digital Manufacturing environments.

    • Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, MQTT, etc.) and integration of PLC/SCADA systems with SAP.

    • Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) services relevant to manufacturing scenarios.

    • Knowledge of edge computing and IoT concepts as applied to smart manufacturing.

    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including production, IT, and business stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

    • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and transport management in SAP cloud-based development.

    • Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions for process optimization.

    • Experience working in agile delivery models and contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.

Responsibilities:

• • Design and implement scalable solutions using SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (DMC), integrating with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems (ERP, PLM).

  • Develop and configure SAP MES and SAP MII applications to support real-time manufacturing operations, data acquisition, and analytics.

  • Extend and customize SAP Fiori and UI5 applications for manufacturing user interfaces tailored to shop floor and operations personnel.

  • Integrate SAP Digital Manufacturing with shop floor systems, leveraging industrial protocols and middleware to enable seamless data flow between OT and IT layers.

  • Collaborate with business and production stakeholders to gather requirements, model manufacturing processes, and translate them into robust SAP-based digital solutions.

  • Build custom services and APIs within the SAP BTP framework to support interoperability across SAP and non-SAP platforms.

  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools in SAP MII to monitor and improve production performance and quality.

  • Optimize SAP manufacturing processes through ABAP enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, and CDS views, ensuring performance and reliability.

  • Support the deployment, testing, and validation of digital manufacturing solutions across global production environments.

  • Troubleshoot integration issues between SAP DMC and external systems, working across cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.

  • Contribute to the development of technical architecture and documentation for SAP manufacturing solutions in compliance with enterprise IT standards.

  • Participate in Agile delivery cycles, contributing to sprint planning, story grooming, technical estimations, and backlog refinement.

  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and internal governance for change control, code quality, and SAP transport management.

  • Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to junior developers and technical teams on SAP Digital Manufacturing development and deployment strategies.
