Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain SAP BW solutions to meet business and reporting needs.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions within SAP BW.
- Develop and optimize complex data models, queries, and reports to ensure effective and efficient data analysis.
- Design and configure SAP BW/4HANA models, working with SAP HANA Studio and BW Modeler to create high-performance data models.
- Manage and enhance SAP BW 7.x systems, including developing ABAP routines and logic to support custom reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship in SAP BW-related tasks and best practices.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across SAP BW and integrated systems.
- Continuously evaluate emerging BI technologies and methodologies to enhance SAP BW system performance and capabilities.
Must-Have Technical Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP Business Warehouse (BW).
- Strong understanding of BI principles, data modeling, and front-end reporting tools. Experience in the following areas is essential: SAP BW/4HANA, Proficiency with SAP HANA Studio and BW Modeler.
- SAP BW 7.x.
- Advanced expertise in ABAP (ability to independently develop complex ABAP routines and logic).
- Experience in building BW Queries.
Requirements – Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of SAP ByD (Business ByDesign).
- Experience with SAP HANA Native modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Familiarity with SAP BW analytical authorization.
- Understanding of SAP ERP modules.
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud.
