Requirements:
- Extensive experience in SAP BTP CAP development, including data modeling, service provisioning, and business logic implementation.
- Proficient in defining CDS views and business services within the CAP model for seamless integration with SAP HANA and other SAP services.
- Strong expertise in developing OData V2/V4 services within CAP for efficient communication between cloud applications, SAP Fiori interfaces, and external systems.
- Experience in building and deploying cloud-native applications using the SAP CAP framework.
- Proficiency in Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for source code versioning, automated testing, and deployment of SAP BTP solutions.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in CAP services, CDS views, and OData integrations for high performance and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of best practices in SAP BTP security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
- Experience in integrating SAP BTP applications with other SAP solutions and third-party services.
- Ability to optimize CAP-based applications for performance and scalability in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in agile development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SAP BTP CAP-based applications, ensuring efficient data modeling, service provisioning, and business logic implementation.
- Design and implement CDS views and business services within the CAP framework to support integration with SAP HANA and other SAP solutions.
- Develop and expose OData V2/V4 services to enable seamless communication between cloud applications, SAP Fiori interfaces, and external systems.
- Collaborate with Agile project teams to enhance and support the Price Setting Tool (PST), ensuring it meets business requirements and market conditions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps best practices to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring of SAP BTP solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot CAP services, CDS views, and OData integrations to ensure optimal performance and rapid issue resolution.
- Ensure security, authentication, and authorization best practices are applied to SAP BTP applications.
- Optimize application performance and scalability to handle global pricing data efficiently.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand pricing requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the PST application.
- Contribute to Agile development practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
