Senior Software Engineer

• Technical Direction & Architecture Ownership – Shape technical direction by influencing requirements and improving early solution concepts across cloud platform initiatives.
• End-to-End Platform Delivery – Take full ownership of design, development, testing, deployment, and operations of scalable cloud platform components.
• Cloud-Native Development – Build APIs, backend services, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code modules using modern cloud technologies and distributed systems.
• Performance & Reliability Optimization – Improve scalability, reliability, and performance through engineering best practices and system optimization techniques.
• DevSecOps & Release Management – Manage secure deployments, rollback strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and operational readiness in cloud environments.
• Engineering Quality & Standards – Enforce secure coding, testing, observability, documentation, and code quality across engineering teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to align solutions with business and technical goals.
• Technical Leadership & Mentoring – Mentor engineers, lead reviews, and promote best practices and engineering consistency across teams.

Must-Have Skills:

• Senior Cloud Engineering Experience – Minimum 5+ years as Software Engineer, SysOps Engineer, API Engineer, or similar in cloud environments.
• Cloud & Distributed Systems Expertise – Strong experience with AWS, microservices architecture, and distributed system design.
• API & Event-Driven Architecture – Experience designing REST APIs and working with pub/sub and event-driven systems.
• CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code – Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Programming & Backend Development – Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot preferred) and backend service development.
• DevOps & Operational Excellence – Experience with Kubernetes, GitLab pipelines, and cloud infrastructure operations.
• Cloud Security & Reliability – Understanding of security, resilience, and operational best practices in cloud environments.
• Stakeholder & Agile Collaboration – Ability to work in agile teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• DevSecOps & SRE Practices – Experience with DevSecOps methodologies, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering approaches.
• Observability & Monitoring – Experience with system monitoring, logging, tracing, and performance analysis tools.
• Cost Optimization Awareness – Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
• Distributed Systems Depth – Understanding of advanced distributed systems design and scaling patterns.
