EDV Werke is looking for a SAP ESM Process & Business Consultant

Working Model: Remote

Form of cooperation: B2B Contract

Tasks:

• ESM Process Design: Design and optimize SAP Enterprise Service Management (ESM) business processes for HR, Finance, and other enterprise functions.

• Business Analysis: Analyze current service, case-handling, and shared service processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

• Service Model Definition: Define scalable and future-proof ESM service models, ensuring standardization and configurability.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Lead workshops, gather requirements, and align governance, ownership, and service strategy with stakeholders.

• Documentation & Rollout Planning: Prepare functional specifications, rollout strategies, and onboarding approaches for additional enterprise functions.

Must-Have Skills:

• Enterprise Service Management: Strong experience in ESM, case management, or shared service operations.

• Business Process Expertise: Proven ability to design, optimize, and standardize business processes.

• SAP Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP ecosystems (S/4HANA, SAP service solutions) with hands-on ESM experience.

• Adaptability: Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, early-stage, or evolving environments.

• Communication & Facilitation: Excellent stakeholder communication, workshop facilitation, and alignment skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• HR & Finance Operations: Experience with HR service delivery, HR operations, or Finance service processes.

• Shared Service Exposure: Familiarity with large shared service centers and enterprise-level service operations.

• Process Modeling Tools: Experience using process modeling platforms such as Signavio or similar.

• Service Platforms: Knowledge of ServiceNow or comparable enterprise service management platforms for best-practice benchmarking.

• Advisory & Design Mindset: Comfortable shaping business and service processes before full system implementation.
