Senior Software Engineer

• Cloud Platform Development & Operation – Design, develop, and operate scalable cloud services, APIs, and backend components using modern frameworks.
• Technical Ownership & Continuous Improvement – Drive technical enhancements, address technical debt, and improve solution concepts proactively.
• Infrastructure & Automation Implementation – Build Infrastructure-as-Code modules, automation scripts, and cloud-native components for AWS and Kubernetes.
• System Performance & Reliability Optimization – Optimize system scalability, performance, and reliability using testing, monitoring, and engineering best practices.
• Quality, Security & Engineering Excellence – Apply secure coding, testing, observability, and documentation standards; lead code reviews and refactoring.
• Collaboration & Mentoring – Work with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and align solutions with organizational goals.
• Lifecycle & Process Improvement – Enhance software development lifecycle processes for efficiency, maintainability, and scalability using modern practices.
• Platform Feature Design & Solution Presentations – Participate in platform design discussions, present solutions to technical leadership, and influence technical direction.

Must-Have Skills:

• Software Engineering Experience – 5+ years as Software Engineer, SysOps Engineer, API Engineer, or similar in cloud environments.
• Programming & Framework Expertise – Hands-on experience with Java, SpringBoot, scripting languages, and CI/CD/DevOps tools like GitLab, Terraform, EKS.
• Cloud & Microservices Knowledge – Proven experience with AWS, microservices architecture, REST APIs, pub/sub, and event-driven design.
• Infrastructure-as-Code & Automation Skills – Experience designing, building, and operating IaC modules and automation pipelines.
• Technical Ownership & Agile Collaboration – Ability to take ownership, work cross-functionally, and communicate effectively in Agile teams.
• Cloud Security & Resilience Knowledge – Solid understanding of cloud security, reliability, and operational best practices.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong analytical capabilities with ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Continuous Learning & Growth Mindset – Technical curiosity, modern cloud engineering passion, and ability to adopt new technologies like AI in SDLC.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Platform & Reliability Engineering Experience – Familiarity with DevSecOps, SRE patterns, cost optimization, monitoring/observability, and distributed system design.
