EDV Werke is looking for an Industrial Systems Integrator

Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain system integration guidelines for Plant of Tomorrow solutions, covering both on-site and hybrid or cloud-based applications.
- Design cohesive system architectures for next-generation technologies that support global cement operations, spanning over 260 sites in 50 countries.
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to create integrated system designs aligned with the integration strategy.
- Evaluate current solution architectures and provide recommendations for improving performance in terms of business objectives and cybersecurity standards.
- Assist product owners in converting their business needs into solution specifications and technical documentation for project implementation.
- Advise regional and cement plant teams in optimizing their technology integration roadmaps to ensure alignment with the global strategy.
- Champion the implementation and progress tracking of system integration projects across various regions and plants.
- Leverage your knowledge and network to become a trusted consultant for global operations in the field of industrial systems integration.
Must-Have Technical Skills:
Education
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
- SAP PM, PP, QM knowledge preferred (including work order creation, notifications, etc.).
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in system integration within the heavy or process industry, covering both IT and OT.
- At least 5 years of experience in leading large-scale system integration projects, from inception to execution.
- (Preferred) Over 2 years of experience in specialized projects such as digital twins, integrated digital application platforms, digital workplaces, integrated operations centers, data lakes, or similar areas.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Expertise in holistic industrial systems architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with SAP, BW, commercial cloud APIs, and information and control bus configurations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Python programming (an advantage).
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (technical proficiency is essential).
Travel Requirements: 25-50% travel, primarily to North America (expenses covered by the company).
