For one of the strategic IT projects EDV Werke is looking for IT Network Engineer

Position descripiton:

• Technologies: Network, Servers, Microsoft
• Location: Hinwil, Switzerland – onsite
• Area and form of employment: Support, Perm
• Experience level: Mid

Your main tasks as the IT Network Engineer will be:

• Being the competent contact person for all network matters of Formula 1 team
• Taking care of networks in the factory and at the race track, wired and wireless, including firewalls and services
• Setting up a reliable and intelligent monitoring for all processes, devices and services
• Ensuring the secure, stable and error-free operation of all network systems
• Developing future solutions that enable excellent service for network and security solutions

To be successful in this role you should have:

• At least three years of professional experience
• Completed a higher education or a degree in the field of information technology
• Professional education level of a CCNA, or a corresponding level for the products of another manufacturer
• Profound experience with Cisco / Dell networks, as well as client and server systems (Microsoft Azure cloud services, telephony via Microsoft Teams, HCI systems)
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great German and English skills (written and spoken)
