For one of the strategic IT projects EDV Werke is looking for a Head of Support & Customer Service

Position descripiton:

  • Technologies: Linux, Service Desk, Software, Kanban
  • Location: Remote / Gladebeck – Germany
  • Area and form of employment: Project, B2B
  • Experience level: Lead

Your main tasks as the Head of Support & Customer Service will be:

  • Organisational coordination and reporting
  • Supporting Toolbase and Wintool
  • Measuring customer satisfaction, analysing and deriving measures
  • Optimizing the performance support department
  • Providing coordination of
    • Deadlines and support projects in support with the customer (workload monitoring)
    • Support cases with the IT of the company
  • Prioritizing tickets escalated to level 3 with the corresponding department head 3rd level
  • Ensuring training and further development of Level 1 and Level 2 staff and products of company and on technical level
  • Coordinating release tests for WIN Tool and Toolbase in consultation with Development
  • Ensuring correct, complete data delivery for the billing of support services within the scope of maintenance contracts and projects by the following month at the latest
  • Managing documents and further development in support and office work
  • Escalating management for customers
  • Continuously improving work processes in Support
  • Taking responsibility for order and cleanliness in the department

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Solid knowledge of
    • Windows Administration
    • 1-3rd level support
  • Basic understanding of Linux
  • Experience in software works (software developer, full stack developer)
  • Good Kanban knowledge
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

  • Experience in Team Leading
