For one of the strategic IT projects EDV Werke is looking for a Global Identity and Directory Services Lead

Position descripiton:

  • Technologies: IAM (Sailpoint), PAM (Delinea) and Active Directory Services, Team Lead
  • Location: Milan, Italy / Visp, Switzerland
  • Area and form of employment: Support / Management, B2B – Italy, PERM – Switzerland
  • Experience level: Senior

Your main tasks as the Global Identity and Directory Services Lead will be:

  • Being responsible for overall engineering and technical management of the Identity and Directory Solutions including Group Policy Management, monitoring, audit trail, backup, restore / disaster recovery, cleanup and vulnerabilities management
  • Steering Committee representation for projects such PAM, IAM and other related areas.
  • Optimizing and automating IAM processes
  • Improving the outsourced managed services
  • Taking care for the operations, maintenance and security of the authentication and directory services in accordance with policy and guidance
  • Supporting global Identity and Active Directory with the management, sustainment and deployment of authentication, directory and policy services
  • Being responsible for
    • Enterprise and domain level management
    • Authentication services deployment, maintenance, monitoring and reporting
    • Troubleshooting, testing and recommendations to solve persistent service issues
    • Performance monitoring and trend analysis to continually improve service capability
    • Establishing and managing required subordinate services to ensure optimal performance (e.g., Certificate Authorities)
  • Providing technical/administrative training; assuring ITIL process compliance; scheduling to effectively utilize all team resources; committing to quality management standards, QA/QC compliance, and metrics analysis
  • Working as Tier III support for issues varying from AD object restorations / deletions / moves, to include users and/or computers Group policy creation/ permissions/ deletions
  • Providing guidance, training, and work leadership to engineers and other technical staff
  • Recommending innovative solutions to more effectively and efficiently support work performance

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • 10+ years of working in a team lead role, with advanced technical experience with IAM (Sailpoint), PAM (Delinea) and Active Directory Services
  • Experience with
    • Windows DNS
    • Group Policy
    • Active Directory Federation Services
    • Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
    • PKI infrastructure (including HSM modules)
  • Solid, proven knowledge and background in
    • Progressive IT leadership
    • DevOps delivery pipelines
    • Communication with all levels including executive leadership, both verbally and written
    • Simplification, standardization and automation skills
    • Building, scaling & monitoring infrastructure needed within the Engineering services
  • Ability to drive cultural and technological disruption
  • Experience working with a globally distributed, cross-functional engineering teams
  • Strong Leadership and team building skills
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions
  • Technical infrastructure knowledge
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if you had: 

  • Experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry
  • German language skills
  • Experience with large, multi-national organization
