For one of the strategic IT projects EDV Werke is looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer – IAM

Position descripiton:

• Technologies: IAM, SailPoint, Active Directory
• Location: Remote work within EU
• Area and form of employment: Project, B2B
• Experience level: Senior

Your main tasks as the Cybersecurity Engineer – IAM will be:

• Ensuring that the right people have access to the right resources at the right time
• Preventing unauthorized access to those resources.
• Working effectively in teams and collaborating with colleagues from different departments, including developers, IT operations, and security teams
• Analyzing large amounts of data related to user access, security logs and compliance requirements to identify patterns and potential security risks.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• Minimum five years of experience working with a diverse range of IAM-related technologies, including but not limited to Active Directory, ADFS, Azure AD, and SaaS applications such as Microsoft 365 and Service Now
• Familiarity with IAM lifecycle (joiner/mover/leaver), Role Based Access Control (RBAC), Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), Business to Employee (B2E), Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C), Separation of Duties (SoD), Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Fundamental understanding of scripting (PowerShell / Java)
• Ability to
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders, security teams, and end-users
  • Identify and solve complex problems related to access management, security, and compliance
  • Adapt to changing business needs and technology trends and be willing to learn new skills as required
  • Manage your time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong customer service skills to interact with end-users and provide support when needed.
• Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
• Great English skills (written and spoken)

It would be a plus if you had: 

• Experience in SailPoint or another well-established IAM provisioning tool
