For one of the strategic IT projects EDV Werke is looking for an ICT Helpdesk Agent

Position descripiton:

  • Technologies: IT Support, Network, Hardware
  • Location: Aarau, Switzerland – hybrid
  • Area and form of employment: Support, Permanent
  • Experience level: Senior

Your main tasks as the ICT Helpdesk Agent will be:

  • Receiving error messages, questions and change requests from system users
  • Pre-analyzing error messages and questions
  • Solving simple problems, for example by means of remote analysis
  • Answering simple questions and initiating possible workarounds as first-level support
  • Forwarding error messages and questions to the responsible departments
  • Ensuring that system users are informed about malfunctions and operational messages
  • Educating users on the proper use of the technical and application resources provided 

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • ICT services operation Leadership experience
  • Solid knowledge and experience with
    • Quality Management
    • Service Design
    • Ergonomics, Usability
    • Information security
    • Application operation
    • Hardware operation
    • Network operation
  • Methodological competence
  • Team-oriented, detail-oriented, efficient, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Superb analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently and in a team
  • Great English skills (written and spoken)
